In Konami's first action/RPG video game for the N64, you star as Johnny Slater.

A seven member special forces team, led by Johnny Slater, is investigating the wreckage of a crashed space shuttle when they discover that the space craft is transporting mutants from a secret government experiment gone wrong. The creatures are genetically engineered soldiers, mutated by the effects of the experiment. They attack the shuttle crew and escape to a city in the U.S., taking over it entirely and expand their population rapidly.

True to the popular video game alien-manifestation themes, you are assigned to eliminate the threat.

During the travel sequences, you will move around in 3-D real-time, just like in Castlevania. Whenever a fight occurs, you control Slater through a menu-option, much like an RPG. After a move is chosen for Slater to perform, a fully animated battle sequence wille to create images that are completely different from other games."

Additional information about Hybrid Heaven

• -Originally planned to be released for the 64DD, it has instead been formatted for cartridge.
• -This game is going to be the first action/RPG that will make use of the 4MB Memory Expansion.
